weekly goals

I was suppose to get started on the videoing but i had so much other things to do so I did not get to it but I should be getting around it by the end of this week for sure.But if I don't then I will have to write a two page essay stating why I didn't get to video tape anything and what will I wined up doing if I don't get to do the video taping.

I also started my questions for people to answer, I just need to type it up and give it out for people to answer and also I need to get the questions for the people to answer while I am asking them questions when I am taping them.

But if I do get to video tape and ask questions I should be done no later then monday june 11th. I should have everything done because if I put everything on a shedule, it should be done on time and handed in on time.

WEEKLY GOALS

Well to get started I have everything done.The survey's, the people,and the camera. But it is just that when I try to get the people to do the interview they are either absent of can't do it that period so I am thinking if i should still do a video or should do a book now.

I think that if I don't get any interviews by next week that I might have to change to like doing a book or maybe a power point.

WEEKLY GOALS

I am starting to gather people to video n get information on how they feel about teen pregnancy. I have to make up my survey's so that I can peoples thoughts on teen pregnancy n how it mostly affects teen in high school n how the way they deal with the after math of the fact.

What made you came up with the idea of teen pregnancy?

I came up with teen pregnancy because i was once in that place
where i was pregnant so i felt that this issues should be brought
to the table because to many young girls are becoming pregnant
and that should not be a good thing for young girls that are trying
something in life and to becoming pregnant is not the way.


Planning
How have your surveys gone so far?(did you begin)

Well they did not so so good yet but by the end of next
week I should have at least two surveys.


What stood out to you the most in your surveys?

Well what would sand out to me when I get them done
I will love to see how these young girls n guys come
where i was pregnant so i felt that this issues.

Through out your planning have you gotten threw your steps,how is it coming
along?(does it have any connection to you)

Yes I have done some of my steps. It has been going very well.
It has a lot to deal with me because this project is really connected to me.


Did you have to change your ideas or change it up a bit?

Well yes because at first I was going to do about how my school
changed but i notice that somebody else was doing that so I
changed it to teens and pregnancy.


Do you plan on keeping your whole project ideas the same?

Yes I do because I like it and I hope that by me doing this
project that young in my school or who ever see it will
notice it and pay close attention to it and take heat to it.

ASIA SAID

Basically Tanonya Floyd project would be a video on different people "teenagers" who experience teen pregnancy so far i guess.
Tanonya will explain the rise of teenage pregnancy and the different effects young girls go threw and different procedures they go threw to probably avoid or what the plan to do about they situations.

Goals for the next two weeks

First week

1. Gather the survey for people to answer
2. Get people to answer the survey that I wrote up
3.See if I can gather people to be in my video

2. Start on the video with some people that has been threw that

My Porposal

My project is about young girls in high school that get pregnant and drop out. It will address to young girls and guys in high school that is thinking about having children. It will demonstrate the habits of mind because I will put my all and also outside information into my project.


I will be getting information from my own knowledge and from books, Internet, and from people who been in that citation. The materials that I will need for my project is a video camera, pictures and people. I will use survey’s to support my evidence. It is important because there are a lot of young girls today who get pregnant in high school who need to read about young girls getting pregnant in high school and about the outcomes of that happening.

It reflects me as a unique individual because I’ve been there and threw what girls are going threw. My strength is that I will know a lot because I know what a lot of girls was going threw or went threw with being pregnant and getting threw the process. Well I would not be really taking a risk because I know what girls was going threw when they know what was happening to them and I was once their so it would not be hard for me.

I will have a big commitment to this project because it is right up my alley. I don’t think that I will be facing and challenge because I know what to do. My weakness might be that when doing this I might get a little depress and might not want to finish. But you know what I will because young girls and guys need to know about this because it is very important for young girls entering high school to know about this.

My Materials

The materials that I will need to use for my project is different types of girls that have been pregnant or was pregnant, have an servey of how many girls get pregnant in high school from ninth grade to thewlfh grade. I will also need a video camara and differnt types of designs to put in side of the film.

my project summary

My project is going to be about teen girls in their first year of high school that get pregant and can't finish their years of high school and don't know what to do. Which that I want to make ann video and have didn't girls that been threw that crises and that want their story to be known around to people in my school. That they are not affaired of letting people know their personal life out side of school. It will be with girls that are from 14 to 18 years old and that they have an high school level or just getting an high school level. Also with different pictures of girls that are pregant and pictures of girls with their babies or just the babies.

I think that I want to change my project to a video about girls in school get pregant when they first get to high school.

2. I will need to get info on all the teachers and their opinion of what they thought.

The thing that I want to do about this project is to make an power point about my life from the beginning of high school to my last year of high school. It would need to have pictures of me from when we went on trips and from school activities from back then to right now. I will also want to have to get some teachers to talk on my video about how ninth grade was like and how it is now. then I will have to get some of the new teachers this year and ask them how this year was to them. Then I will get one of the teachers that was here from when I started and ask them how I have grown from ninth grade to right now in my last year of high school.

My final project would like an video/book that would show how I have grown and what I had went threw my years in high school in Brooklyn prep. I also don’t know what I really want to do. If I want to make a video or a book about my project.

I could let people see it from an screen with the computer or maybe make an book then make copies to give to everyone or even maybe tell people about it and then and give them little pictures and readings of my project.

It will present me as I am because it will deal with my whole life in Brooklyn prep and how have I grown during my high school years and what I done and change during the four years of high school.
